Apologies for the slackness i've shown the site of late - Things have been pretty hectic what with getting ready to move out, shopping for holiday and partying left right and centre. Normal service should resume next week once i'm back and settled. ...the thing that blew me away about this place is people are now emailing asking when the next updates coming and more pics! Thanks for the interest, is kinda strange thinking other people read about our weekend manoeuvres, but all good!! Well, the weekends getting closer and the plans are already dropping into place, looks like we out on the town Friday night for a drink or 4, and man will i need it after two days off work to pack all my possessions up ready to move into the new apartment! Saturdays still in the mix, with Bournemouth and Croydon both possibilities, the one thing I do know is it'll be messy!! Check back soon for more info...

...after a weekends partying, i spent tuesday, wednesday and today with a cold, cough and a voice like Marge Simpson! Its the work pub quiz tonight, no excuse i've conjured up so far to bail has worked - so looks like forcably i'm going like it or not, psssch! Course i'll have to go polling station first and drop my vote...could always get lost on the way back from that, now there in lies my plan!

Tris is back from New York today & straight back out on Commando training which means he ain't around for the weekends operational manoeuvres with us. Friday looks set for a night with Burgey and the Twomey on the town. Saturday its wingman styles with Peachey and Stu, whu-whut! And sunday i'll be hunting out a pub serving a roast dinner cuz i haven't had one in yonks! Catch ya on the flipside, hasta luego

...what a weekend! The briefest of manoeuvre breakdowns coming up as i's off to Brighton this afternoon lapping up sunshine in the Marina with a few more beers. Friday was a complete no questions asked mess!! - Croydon, accumulated a few friends along the way and partied into the late hours of the morning before finally getting to bed around 10am, blurgh. Saturday was spent licking wounds, feeling sorry for myself...but kinda excited about the FHM thing, that is until Martyn calls with an invite to Aura, (Londons exclusive club decked out like an airport departure lounge where the VIP passes are airline tickets!) - I couldn't miss the chance to check that out! So it was 2 parties, 1 night, 2nd night back2back on it and time to roll! What a club, what a venue with many cool, unpretencious celebs! Fingers crossed look forward to getting up there again soon. Spellar...i'll be back for that drink, man of his word!! Ha! Sunday was an early start with Paintball at 9am...less said that about the better!! We got S-M-A-C-K-E-D down by Gav and his troupe of repribates!! Highlights included Twomey winning the GI Jane award for his limp wristed paint grenade throw that nearly capped Peachey and myself, good work fella!! Hicksy somehow landed himself the accolade 'player of the day' (sure there was a pay off somewhere bruv!) but my personal favourite was Dave and Kevs non-stop all day banter and point blank range shootout over the top of the oil barrells where tempers flared and handbags made an appearance! After a quick shower and change of clothes it was back onto the social merry-go-round and time to hit Escapades for the 3-4-1 drinks bonanza, bring it! Attendees for the evenings movements included; Droidy, Eamon, Twomey, Dangerous, Peachey, Stu, Locksley, Aimee, Michelle, Chantal, Steve-o and Dan. The night was pure debauchery, i've never seen some of you soooo god dam messy!! Droid stealing the whole bottle of Absolut Citron, Dave...well...pints of rum and coke?? - have word fella!! Locksley for being wingman on the covert bar crawl recce, Jacqui for being a sweetheart and schmoozing us in one92 for drinks and then back into Escapades, you is a true gem. And that brings it to today, a lazy lie-in, a BBQ in the back garden and now time to roll to the coast, enjoy the afternoon sun with a few bevs on a boat in the Marina...you know how we do! ...anyone catch 'Supersize Me' last night? -ill! I won't be paying Macky D's a visit anytime soon! Whut whut is it Friday...hell yeah. The working weeks done so its time to kick back and drink ourselves silly, as we do! Tonight we out on manoeuvres, Jekyll and Shady set to bar crawl Croydon and consume as much liquer that'll fcuk us up quicker! See y'all on the flip side of the weekend, hasta luego.

...one day closer to the weekend and only 24 hours to go till we hit Friday, woo! Things are eerily quiet at home since Dad moved to Amsterdam permanently yesterday, still shouldn't really complain...t'is nice having the place back to myself! Tonight looks set for a few cheeky beers as has now become customary of a Thursday night with Bondy down at Black Sheep. With Tris off in New York doing his family thang, i'm rolling out with Bondy and his even crazier (bet you didn't think that possible, right!) cousin. Tris was out with them on Tuesday night and this is what he had to say of the night...

All i can say is...bare excitement! Saturday nite Stus invited me to party with him and La Peachey at FHM's High Street Huneys party!! Bring it on, puh puh puh!!

Yes yes Andy mate the FHM party is off the hook this weekend!! There is 5 main girls coming with us and then its free entry (you know how we do!!) and free drink!! Oh dear!!

...this weekend graces us with an extra days partying courtesy of the May bank holiday weekend. So we got some manoeuvres in place to see things right, puh! Friday we set to party down in ye olde Croydonia on an Escapades and a one92 flex. Saturday i'm set for a shopping shizzle down at the lakes of Bluewater and an early night in preparation for Sundays paintballing combat warfare challenge. Thanks to the bank holiday monday we're set to party out in Lloyds and Escapades come Sunday night with a few drinks, hopefully in celebration of the arse whooping we set to serve Gav and his mates.

From bumping into Keri-Anne (good seeing ya again!) in Escapades, blowing out babysitting duties (apologies Chantal!), meeting one of Whyteleafes hottest tottys (forgotton your name but you stole my lolly ya pesky lolly thief!), meeting another mad Scotsman and getting him spannered on Gold Cuervo with Twomey, getting snuck into one92 (again!) courtesy of Jacqui - Croydon's bestest VIP room barmaid, and meeting a load of scouse girls outside Reflex to make a tidy packet on treats....always the businessman, you know how we do!! To walking home and throwing up most of the way, and waking up in my front garden...nice!

...woah! When I started this site a 'lil over a month ago it was designed for the Bratpack to check in on a Monday morning and see the pics from the carnage of the weekend that was.

Seems like we blowing up now! - With over 3,000 hits since 'The Shady Lounge' was created, 400 of which have come this week...and the start of C12 appreciation emails coming in and comments appearing slowly, its freaked me!

Life in the goldfish bowl continues, thanks for checking the page...collective alk-la-frolics till we die!!

...due to everyones financial backing lacking, options for tonight are nothing short of...errr...nothing! None of the Bratpack are frequenting the drinking establishments of Croydon and I can't convince anyone into their overdrafts to wingman me to Bournemouth to accompany Droidy and the 11 cowgirls in fancy dress from his work for a night out on the pisch (what is wrong with you guys!). So...the options are...a quiet night in watching the DVD box set my sis got for my birthday (the title of which is remaining a secret as its embarrassing!), a night out in Purley with Stuart, Marina and Hayley...or a night with a friend who's babysitting...which means no alk-la-hol. Getting old sucks!! Still there's always Saturday night, and the agenda looks gooooooood!! Bring it!

...now I know my birthday weekend was heavy, but resigning yourselves to staying in this weekend just ain't how we do! Check the weather forecast for Bournemouth...its all set to drop it like its H-O-T - the beach, the sea, sunbathing and the finest drinking establishments England has to offer. 1 wingman required! ...after attending last nights FHM High Street Huney photoshoot i thought it was about time things would start quitening down a 'lil. But how about noooo! Tonight its back onto the social merry-go-round and off out for a meal, followed up with another meal tomorrow night courtesy of my beloved sis in joint celebration of her new baby and my birthday (everyone can quit the 'Uncle Andrew' jokes now! - like I needed another reminder of how old I am!) and that brings about Friday which can only mean 1 thing...time to get messy!! Seriously tho guys, I was dreading this birthday...being the 1st one without mom - but you've all been abbbsolutely wicked, the cards, pressies, meals...were unexpected yet muchly much appreciated, you's all the best, loving ya work...even you Dangerous! Laters!

Every once in a while someone does something that completely blows you away! Yesterday was my turn to be blown away! After a late afternoon phonecall inviting me to Brighton Marina (i didn't need asking twice!) I jumped in my lo-lo and hacked it down there in a record breaking 45 minutes! The afternoon was spent sunbathing on a Sunseeker in the Marina sippin up on bub and messing round on a jet ski! What more could I ask for!! Thank you for making it such a special day!

...now even the best laid plans can go wrong, and my birthday weekend was to be no exception! Tear up the rule book, throw it out the window because this is C12 and that would've been all too easy!

Thursday night...messy. Escapades, Black Sheep - attendees; Dangerous Dave, Tristan, Aimee, Michelle and the Shadiest. After a quiet meal with Papa Plates and his lady, and a free glass of champs courtesy of those good folk at India Dining (can you say fo shizzle Imran?!) it was time to jet out of there and link up with the rest of the crew. By the time I got there Tris and Dave were already on it, large. Escapades was quiet so it was off to the Sheep to bear witness to Dangerous and Tris rip up the mosh pit with some serious anger management issues! Come 2am its time to breeze and we head back to Dangerous's foolishly for more fuel (why does it always seem such a good idea at the time!?!). By 6am its home time and the attempt to sleep, not happening!

Friday was spent in a lazy haze of a mess licking wounds and feeling sorry for myself...thank god for the gyms jacuzzi and steam room...i love you! Friday night & its a quick dash down the motorway to pick up the Scots boys from Heathrow, and dam were you boys messy when we met you! Still, we did set the standard when we touched down in Glasgow eh!! Anyways it was back to Daves (again! - i really should get a season ticket!) for a couple of chilled beers and a well needed early night.

With batteries fully recharged Saturday was all about showing the Scots boys our lovely City Of London. A quick train ride to London Bridge later (and a few cheeky comments to the ladies - you Scots Boys are like meer cats...never off duty and always on the prowl, still the Scottish charm went down a treat eh!) we were in possibly the darn biggest Whetherspoons i ever did see! Arsenal vs Blackburn...FA Cup with an ice cold pint of San Miguel infront of me, nice! After a goal from Bobby Pires and two seriously slick goals from the dutch wonderkid Van Persie we hot-footed it out of there and into the sunshine to rendez-vous with Tris for the sightseeing! We leap into the back of Tris's lo-lo and start the whistestop 'T Tour' of London Town - Millenium Wheel, Houses of Parliment, Big Ben, Downing Street, Picadilly Circus, Westminster Abbey, Horse Guards Parade, Nelsons Column, Trafalgar Square and we're done - obligatory pictures taken, so T and Dangerous decide its a grand idea to show the boys Soho, hmmm. Anyways its back to Croydon for a shower and some grub and straight out on manoeuvres.

All I can say is thanks...i didn't expect many people to turn up and was overwhelmed by the enchanting number of you who did, massive props - loving your work people! Attendees; Tris, Dangerous, Peachey, Stuart, Scots Dave1, Scots Dave2, Twomey, John, Laura, Jamie, Ali, Aimee, Michelle, Droidy, Eamon, Tony, Mark, James, Terry, Sam, David, Wills, Kelvin, Ads, Jon and also a massive thanks to Anna for sneaking us into one92one thru the fire exit at 1am to continue the debauchery! With warmups in Yates's and Escapades and the two Scots Boys well on the way to live-o-ness the unit rolled into Tiger and the roof blew off. Fights, Jekyll Juices, Boutros, bubbly and tequilas all broke out as is par for the course with C12, you know how we do. Just wanna say a thanks to everyone who came out and made it a great night, cheers, till next time...adios

Drinking on a skool nite...hell yeah, i think we shall! Tris, Dangerous, Bondy, myself and quite possibly C12's honourary girl mascot look set to rock the Black Sheep on Thursday night. Cheapest drinks in Croydon...and a collective crew of alk-la-frolics can't knock that!! Throw a few treats into the mix and its the receipe for a dam messy nite! ...not much to report other than the weeks building up nicely to Saturdays debauchery! Tonight hopefully i'm out grabbing some munch with Croydons finest lady, tomorrow its all about Fulham, Thursdays hitting India Dining for a meal with Papa Plater and his lady, Fridays a well overdue day off work for shopping of the clothes, bed and boat variety with Dangerous and hooking up with T in town on his lunch break...then jetting down to Heathrow in the evening to collect the Scots Boys and kick back with a couple of vodkas and an early night in preparation for Saturdays sightseeing in London and the late night session in Tiger! After the lastest of late nights / early mornings on Friday, Saturday was a bit tender! Due to the excess of manoeuvres the drive to Bournemouth wasn't appealing so I was a wingman down and spent the evening chilling at home instead. That was until...Dangerous Davina turned up at mine in a cab and chauffeured me off for a few cheeky vodkas! By 2am I was whacked and ready to crash so it was an early cab home and time for KO! Sunday was spent chilling in the sunshine and playing footy by a lake enjoying some cheeky San Miguels followed up with an early night, well needed and well nice!

So its all about Londonium and vast quantities of free vodka red bull in London Bridge's finest bars! Abacus, Corney & Barrow are all on the menu. Now we all know how a night with Bondy ends up...blurred vision, slurred speech and an extrememly late arrival home!
